Makeup brushes

How To Use Make-Up Brushes

Step 1: Blusher brush
Use angled blusher brushes to get into the socket line and for applying highlighter to the tops of the cheeks. Blusher brushes are useful for applying powder to the whole face, giving a light even finish.

Step 2: Eye shadow brush
An eye shadow brush can be used to apply eye shadow all over the lid, and can be used to apply concealer into the tiny corners and lines of the eyes.

Step 3: Lipstick brush
A lipstick brush gives an even coverage of lipstick, and is wide but also thin and tapered for effective application in the ‘cupids bow' and lip corners.

Step 4: Eyeliner brush
An eyeliner brush, with long bristles and a fine point, can get in between eyelashes and gives very fine, neat detail.

Step 5: Care
If you use synthetic brushes, clean them regularly to keep them in good condition.

Ideally spend more to get brushes made from natural hair.

How to Clean Makeup Brushes

Step 1: Run the bristles of the makeup brush under warm running water.

Step 2: Apply a small amount of shampoo to bristles and work into a light lather.

Step 3: Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water. You will notice that the water leaving the brush is tinted from old makeup.

Step 4: Continue rinsing until no color leaves the brush.

Step 5: Allow it to air-dry.

How we can collect best makeup products?

I always have these questions.
"what are the best makeup products ? "
"How i can collect the best for myself?"
I have tried a lot to answer these questions and be the best in makeup collector.Somebody always get confused while purchasing and some others always purchase and purchase without any considering that this is suit for her or not.
I believe that all products are not suit for every body and every body could get it after some experiences.
If you was confused while using makeup products and don't have any useful information follow me and read carefully this article.
Identifying Your Skin Type

It is important to know your skin type. Examine your face closely. Do you see large pores, flakes, or redness? Each can indicate a different skin type or be indicators of oily skin. Take a tissue to your face and blot. Did you absorb oil? If your self-examination reveals large pores and oil on the tissue, you could have oily skin. The redness can be from excessive washing or sensitive skin. I have combination skin. It is very oily with large pores in the t-zone and dry around my cheeks. If you are still unsure, consult a dermatologist or aesthetician.

Taking Care of Oily Skin

Caring for your skin now will provide benefits for the future. Your skin will thank you five years from now. Know how to take care of you skin, both inside and out. It is important to drink water so that the skin remains hydrated. Taking vitamins, especially vitamin B2 and B5 will also help your body. These vitamins can help the skin look more radiant and improve paleness.

Products for Preparing Oily Skin for Makeup

When cleansing, use an oil-based cleanser since it will help dissolve oil better. Do not use harsh cleaners that leave the skin feeling tight. This tightness will restrict oil flow and lead to clogged pores later. Also, massage the face when cleansing to avoid pushing dirt and oil into the pores. Scrubbing will clog the pores. Rinse with warm water to help dissolve oil. Use a mud or clay mask one or two times a week.

Read labels
Look for products that are for oily skin. Avoid products that contain alcohol since alcohol dries the skin. Petroleum based products such as mineral oil contain too much oil and can further clog pores. Use astringents containing acetone. Acetone dissolves oil better. Moisturizers need to be oil-free. You may only need to moisturize certain areas such as around the eyes. Mature skin will need to moisturize the entire face.

I find that applying lemon juice before applying makeup helps my skin's appearance. Witch-hazel will do the same. Both are excellent ways to create a more balanced ph for the skin. You may even want to spritz lavender water on your face several times a day. It is a good hydrator for oily skin as well as providing antiseptic properties.

Makeup for Oily Skin

Read labels. There are some items that should be avoided and some items that you should look for in makeup for oily skin. There are certain makeup companies that are known for their work in designing products for specific skin types. I recommend Clinique . It has a reputation for excellent care and products. I also like Jane Iredale Cosmetics . This is a mineral based line used by many dermatologists.

Avoid

1. Avoid products containing oil from petroleum. This includes mineral oil. Use oil-free makeup or makeup that is intended to benefit oily skin.

2. Avoid makeup that contains alcohol. Alcohol will strip the skin of oil, which may cause the body to produce even more.

3. Look for ingredients such as bismuth oxychloride and dimenthicone. Both can clog pores and may cause blemishes. These are commonly found in foundation or powder based products.

Beneficial

1. Find foundations that contain titanium dioxide, a naturally occurring sun protector.

2. Makeup for oily skin should contain serecite to reduce the appearance of pores and help absorb oil.

3. Kaolin clay added in foundation will help oil control.

4. Zinc oxide used in makeup will act as an anti-inflammatory.

A makeup artist will use products designed for a customer's skin type in order to promote healthy skin. It is equally important for the makeup artist to become familiar with products and ingredients for specific skin care. Knowing how to take care of a customer's skin will benefit the client and the makeup artist's reputation.
Now if you have dry skin follow this

Take care of dry skins

Dry skin has a low level of sebum and can be prone to sensitivity. The skin has a parched look caused by its inability to retain moisture. It usually feels "tight" and uncomfortable after washing unless some type of moisturizer or skin cream is applied. Chapping and cracking are signs of extremely dry, dehydrated skin.

. Cleanse your dry skin regularly
. Always use cosmetics designed specifically for dry skin
. Use non detergent, neutral-pH products to cleanse your skin
. Before applying makeup, apply moisturizer and wait for a few minutes. This will soften the dry skin and bring out the best of your makeup
. Follow a bath or a shower with a mild application of baby oil.

products for preparing dry skin for make up

So, before using the make up products, always make it a point to ensure that the creams and cosmetics you use for makeup are prepared in water-based composites. The creams and cosmetics that contain extracts of water-based fruits such as watermelon are best to use in your make up for dry skin, as these extracts can make skin livelier.

Mae up for dry skins

Make up for dry skin gives effective results for any type of make up–liquid or powder. Both are safer and effective for dry skin. So, continue using any of the two make ups for your dry skin unless it makes your skin even drier or makes you to break out.

eyes make up

Today I'm going to talk about eye make up and its effect on whole face. The eyes are main focal points of the faces. Now there is a question " How to select the color and pattern of eye make up?"
It depends on many factors like eye color, face shape, eye shape etc.that I will explain about some factors:

1)Eye shape:

Almond Shaped Eyes
Oval Shaped Eyes
Round Eyes

Almond Eyes: This eye shape is characterized by an upswept outer corner. Many women with this eye shape want to increase the depth and intensity of their eyes, so experiment with eyeliner as a bold sweep on the upper lid, neutral colors lining under the eye, and upper and lower liner in various shades. To help almond eyes appear larger, limit liner to the outer portion of the top lid. To make almond eyes appear more round, stop liner before the outer corner of the eye, or use a lighter shade or smoky or smudged look in that area.

Oval Eyes: To give an oval eye an illusion of more height, use liner to create a thin line at the outer corner and gradually thicken towards the middle of the eye. Continue in slightly towards the inner corner, reducing again to a fine line. If your eyes are small, skip the lower liner; otherwise draw a very fine line under the lower lashes

Round Eyes: This eye shape if often large, and open-looking, and many women like to use makeup to elongate the eye. Use darker liner to slightly extend beyond the eyelid at the outer corners to give this illusion. Use a medium shade of eye shadow on the eyelid (up to the crease) and extend the shade slightly both slightly up toward the brow bone and slightly down toward the lower lid to create a more elongated eye appearance.

2)Eye placement:

Hooded Eyes
Wide-Set Eyes
Prominent Eyes
Deep-Set Eyes
Close-Set Eyes
Drooping Eyes

Hooded eyes, sometimes also referred to as "bedroom eyes" appear as if the eye lid is partially closed. Hooded eyes often need more prominence, so to give this illusion:

1)Use a light highlight shade on brow bone and inner corner along lash line.
2)Apply an eye shadow shade slightly darker than the highlight shade over the entire lid and hooded area of the eye.
3)Use a darker contour shade on the outer corner, sweeping up to a light peak.
4)Finish with a liner to define the lash lines

Wide-set eyes are spaced out in the face, and the goal is typically to bring the eyes closer together for a more proportionate look. This can be achieved by:
1)Using a highlight shade on the central portion of the upper lid.
2)Use a medium shadow up to the brow bone from the inner corner outward, finishing in inward slant.
3)With a darker shade, shade the edge of the upper lid and the outer crease.
4)Apply liner to focus on the center and inward corner of the eye - this gives the illusion of drawing the eye closer together.

prominent or convex eye shapes, makeup can help reduce the appearance if bulging, or bugging out. To make the eye appear as if it is receding a bit more into the face, use a dark shade of eye shadow near the lash line and base of the lid. Use a slightly lighter shade for the crease, and blend outward towards the brow bone.

The opposite of prominent eyes, deep-set eyes recede back into the sockets. Ideas to bring them out with makeup:
1)Lighten the inner corner and entire lid with shadow.
2Use a medium shadow above the crease and gently apply it across the bottom of the brow bone.
3)Use a darker contour shade only at the outer crease and dip slightly outward.
4)Keep liner, especially on the upper lid, thin

Close-set eyes together can be brought out by using a light shade on the inner corner and most of the lid and a medium shade from the middle of the brow bone and sweeping outward. The darker contour color should outer corner and blend up and out toward the edge of the brow line.

drooping eyes that slope downward can be seen at any age, this is sometimes the look of mature eyes of other shapes as well. To make eyes appear livelier:
1)Apply a light shade in an oval shape on the lid and inner corner.
2)Follow with a medium shade that stops slightly before the edge of the brow.
3)Finish with a dense patch of shadow in and slightly above the outer crease that extends toward the brow.
4)Use liner in lower lash line, but keep the line light, and stop before the outer corner.

3)Eye color:

black

brown

blue

green

......

You can see some eye make up at the bottom:
